Asphalt Driveway Paving Edgewood is a locally owned New Mexico paving contractor focused on the East Mountains and the Estancia Valley — Edgewood, Moriarty, Tijeras, Cedar Crest, Sandia Park, Stanley, Estancia and the communities around them.
We focus here because paving here is different. Most Albuquerque paving outfits are set up for flat city lots. Out here we're working at 6,000 to 7,000 feet, on clay soils in the valley and steep, rocky ground in the foothills, with long rural driveways, private roads, arroyo crossings and snowplows. Those conditions punish shortcuts. A thin base or a driveway that doesn't drain will show it within a couple of winters.
How we work
- The base comes first. Excavation, soft-spot repair, grading and compacted aggregate base on every new driveway.
- Water gets a plan. We look at where runoff comes from and where it should go before we pave.
- Straight answers. If an overlay will do, we'll say so. If your driveway needs to come out, we'll explain why. If chip seal or millings make more sense for a long run, we'll show you the numbers.
- Written estimates. Square footage, base depth, asphalt thickness and price in writing, so you can compare bids fairly.
- Clean finish. Compacted edges, smooth transitions at the garage and road, and the job site left clean.
