Just down the canyon
Four Hills sits in Albuquerque's southeast foothills near the mouth of Tijeras Canyon, off Tramway and Central close to I-40 — a short drive west from our East Mountains base. The neighborhood's homes are established, and so are many of their driveways. After decades of sun and storms, a lot of them are faded, cracked and starting to break up at the edges.
Common Four Hills driveway projects
Resurfacing aging driveways
Where the base is still sound, an asphalt overlay gives an older driveway a new surface for much less than removal. We mill at the garage and street so the new layer meets them flush.
Full replacement
Driveways with widespread alligator cracking or sunken areas need to come out. We remove the old asphalt, rebuild and compact the base, and repave.
Sealcoating and crack sealing
Albuquerque's intense sun dries out asphalt quickly. Crack sealing plus sealcoating every few years is the most cost-effective way to protect a driveway that's still in good shape.
Sloped driveways and runoff
Foothill lots often slope toward or away from the street. We grade for drainage so storm runoff doesn't flow into garages or undercut the driveway edges.
HOA and neighborhood considerations
If your street or HOA has guidelines on driveway materials, colors or edges, let us know at the estimate. We'll make sure the plan fits the requirements.

Frequently asked questions
Do you serve other Albuquerque neighborhoods?
Our focus is the East Mountains, and we include Albuquerque's Four Hills and southeast foothills because they're just down the canyon. Call to ask about other locations.
Can my old driveway be resurfaced instead of replaced?
If the base is still solid and the damage is mostly on the surface, yes. Widespread alligator cracking or sinking means replacement.
How often should I sealcoat in Albuquerque?
Every 2 to 3 years for most driveways, after the asphalt has fully cured.
